This week has been absolutely crazy with school being in full swing, trying to build friendships, and keep a solid sleeping schedule. I still just feel so blessed by everything in my life and the great support I already have surrounding me. I've also been trying to seek my relationship with Christ and be very intentional about my time I spend reading, listening and in prayer. I am striving for growth in my faith because I know that will be the only thing that can keep me truly grounded and connected with reality. Tonight I went to the Nebraska game with my Dad and it was, just great! The weather couldn't of been better, Nebraska could have played better but we won't go there.

When I got back I showed some of the girls on my floor this picture of my Dad and I. When I showed Sofia, who is from the Ukraine, she said, "You are bound for the happiest life." I kinda laughed because it seemed completely unrelated to the picture she held in her hand. She told me that there is a saying in the Ukraine that when a girl looks like her Dad she has a blessed and happy life. The same thing goes for a boy looking like his mother. I guess it was her way of telling me I look like my Dad, but I loved the sentiment.
